Fleming Park has been enjoyed by thousands of children and neighbors since the 1920s, when the Southampton Place neighborhood was first developed.  The Friends of Fleming Park (FOFP), a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation, was founded in 1985 for the purpose of making improvements to the park above and beyond what the City could manage.  FOFP, like Friends of Southampton Esplanades, is a Southampton Civic Club partner.

For more than 39 years, Friends of Fleming Park has been operating on a voluntary basis, relying on donations from the community to continue preserving the park.  FOFP holds movie nights at the park, a Halloween party, a Splash Day party every May, and aims to maintain the original feel of the park and its equipment.

Friends of Fleming Park works actively with the City to maintain the park amenities, infrastructure, and landscaping.  For additional information or if you have questions or suggestions regarding Fleming Park, please visit their website at http://www.flemingpark.org/.  Donations can be made by credit card on the website.
